A newly released study by INSEAD (a leading European business school) ranks 130 countries on innovation in their economies. The US ranks as number one, followed by Germany, Sweden, the UK and Singapore. The data used is based on performance in 2006 and 2007, so there is no telling what the economic downturn's impact might have been. For a link to the study, go here:
